So I've been contemplating starting one of these blog things for a while. . . and actually have started one in the past (not sure what happened to that). So we'll see how far this one makes it. I always kinda felt like you had to be super creative and funny to have one of these things (thanks to my friend Laura, whose blog makes me laugh when I read it). But then the thought came to my head, "Erica, who are you trying to fool, nobody will read your blog anyways!" . . . so, perfect, let the blogging begin!!!
The older I get the more I wonder what mold I came from. . . I am a woman, however most women that want to be good cooks are good cooks. Me on the other hand, I believe I am the only girl alive, that can accidentally cook an upside down peach cobbler, and when trying to make Pumpkin Bread, use yams instead? What is wrong with me? I'm beginning to doubt my abilities. I've almost decided, instead of becoming a better cook maybe I should just get better at ordering take out or something. . . my poor family. But at least I will be an Educated woman, although at times I question that too. For some reason, I decided to take 6 classes (18 credit hours) this semester - I'm beginning to question my sanity. No normal human being should EVER take this many classes. Trust me. I will never do it again. Maybe it would be ok for somebody who didn't get a High School education in the great land of Chipley, Florida - because I don't believe I came out of their knowing much, they just graduate us if we can spell our name. I can't tell you anything about any war. Or how to work a math problem. Anything to do with science. . . (i don't even know a science word to tell you that I don't know about). But let me tell you. I plan on becoming some type of Educator. . . (don't freak out & homeschool your children now). I've just decided that we need more educated people, and we gotta start young. So since I think kids are the coolest thing around (my dad would argue & say it's cows) I wanna do elementary education. That should be fun right?!
Ok so today was Free Pancake day at IHOP, yes the International House of Pancakes! Delicious may I say. It's reasons like this that I wake up in the morning. . . and good thing it runs from 7am - 10pm, or I would've slept in & missed it. But no worries, i got my free panc
akes, and to this poor poor college kid, they tasted fabulous! I think every resturant should be required to have some type of National Food Day, Like National Taco Day at Taco Bell, and National Juinor Bacon Cheeseburger at Wendys. . .Now that right there, would make America, an even better land to live in.
Ok so I don't know how to end these things.
